Something I love about this time of year

exatronOne thing I love about the holidays is that I actually get a chance to make fun foods that I shouldn't be eating.
This year, I picked out a tasty looking recipe for brown sugar shortbread from Cooks Illustrated. (I ♥ that magazine.)
Despite not having a stand mixer, like the recipe called for, and an oddly-shaped mixing bowl, the shortbread looks like it turned out. The final test will be how well it goes over tomorrow.
