Last week, I got 39.9 MPG when I drove out to the Detroit area to celebrate my mom's birthday. The trip back was closer to the 36-37 the specs say I should get on the highway, but that's still pretty good. It was also the first time I had to fill the tank since I got the car.

Date: 2009-05-25 02:51 am (UTC)I wouldn't want to change anything about this car's appearance. It feels like I'm driving a
luxury carpimpmobile.I was expecting my gas mileage to be a bit below what the sticker values said, but apparently the federal rules for gas mileage calculations were revised to underestimate what you can get from a hybrid. So far, the only thing that has a negative impact on my mileage is a lot of starts and stops.
I ♥ my fuzzy cat.
Now I just have to make my front match.

It's hard to tell from this angle, but he was all stretched out and looking like he was trying to faceplant.
I think I've heard of how he reacts to cute kitties.
