Today was my first day in the new office building, and it's been an interesting experience so far. The kitchen isn't finished yet (and we'll only be allowed to use the sink for filling and rinsing) and few of the cubes are arranged in neat aisles. Instead, we get weird, twisty paths and two equally long ways of getting places.

On the plus side, we have a nice view of the capitol building and the place isn't a giant biohazard like the last office we were in.

I also finished up the tasty food I was preparing for AC.



I made lime, orange, and lemon, and I can say that the lime turned out decent, but I'm not too sure about the lemon and orange. (Good thing I have mostly lime). Adapting the recipe to use something other than lime was trickier than I thought, which is weird since it was originally for lemon cookies.

My workplace is a biohazard!

The carpets have not been cleaned in god knows how much time
and they're full of dust.
and we have super-sized spiders in the windows that seem to want to eat us all!

I fear poutine, but I might as well try a little bit.

We had the giant spiders, poor air quality, and air conditioning that dripped water. The old building was so bad that everybody who joined the project would get sick within their first two months.

I was told that it's fine to stray from my diet as long as I only do so occasionally. Much as I hate to repeat it, a cookie is a sometimes food. Besides, strictly adhering to my diet is significantly harder when I'm not preparing my own meals.

I know, me too, but still. It's like my body would DIE if I ate sugar after being on your diet. As it is I still have trouble eating any XD.

Oy, I was so distracted by the photo I missed the part about the new bldg. Your old place was scary, eh? I know I had bad allergies from my prior job because it was all paper-file based and I know the dust in the storage room had to have been horrific...this job is less file-heavy.

AUUUUGHHHH why am I not going to AC! Lemon cookie WANT! My father and I have been on a quest for lemon cookies for aaages. Aghugh.
