Okay, I actually have time to post stuff now that work has calmed down

That was a busy February through April. Nothing like having to test a big, new piece of the state's child support system on short notice.

My weekend was relaxing, despite the whole mother's day thing. Probably because I had time to do some cooking. I modified a cookie recipe to make glazed lime cookies. My mom's reaction to them was, "You made these?!," which was a good sign.

TV has been keeping me entertained as well. Transformers: Animated is really good, Ben 10 Alien Force has been a bit underwhelming (Needs moar Fourarms!), and House was great last night.

House was awesome -- especially the last five minutes.

Transformers: Animated -- are you kidding me? That thing is horrendous. In my opinion, of course.

Ben 10:Alien Force. Agreed -- the stories aren't all that great, though Humongousaur rocks. :-) I don't understand why he has to say the alien's name when he Digivolves...er...changes into the alien. ;-)

GO WATCH SPIDER-MAN. It's being done by Greg Weisman. Very, very good stuff.

I'm a sucker for trippy episodes that look inside a character's head. That episode of House is even better when you watch it a second time. We were told what passenger it was when House was hypnotized.

I was expecting to hate it, mostly because of the art and early descriptions of the premise. Roughly half of the first season wasn't worth the trouble, but there were some decent episodes, like "The Thrill of the Hunt" (even if a critical scene did have some poor directing), "Along Came a Spider", and "Megatron Rising". Season 2 has been chugging along nicely with Megs plotting and rebuilding mostly in the background. I've also been enjoying the show's different take on how Autobots relate to organic life- they have a lot of fears and misconceptions.

Ben 10: Alien Force is just trying too hard to show that it's mature.

Been watching Spectacular Spider-Man, but I've never been a big fan of Spidey, so it's hard for me to be enthusiastic about it.
