The weekend was mostly uneventful, other than my sister getting another cat. Apparently, the new kitten is very loud when it purrs. Right now, Emmy isn't pleased by the invader and they're trying to sort out dominance with staring, hissing, and chasing. The kitten still has its claws, so she should be able to hold her own against Emmy.

My project is winding down, the client really likes what my company has proposed, and there's a chance that I could be overseeing some Indian programmers if the client decided to hire my company for the actual coding for the website updates we proposed. The scope of this project was just one part of a website, but the big plan was to use this to say, "Hey, now that we redesigned this part of the site, how about letting us redo this part too?" So far, it looks like that's still the plan.

There will be a month-long gap before the next part of the project, but that should give me some time to find a place a bit closer to the client.

I'm also eligible for an early turn-in on my car's lease, and will be getting a new vehicle on Thursday.

Now I just need to tell people that I don't like when they get in the way of my cardio workouts at the gym, and everything will be great.

I haven't seen the new one yet, but Emmy's definitely cute. If my plan for moving closer to the client goes well (It had better. I'm currently stuck living with my parents) and the two cats sill don't get along, I'll probably end up with the new kitten.

The hardest work was during the last part when we didn't have a solid look for the redesign yet. This time around, we were able to build on the stuff that was already there and refine its appearance. The drive and being stuffed into a small office with four other people took their toll on me this time.

Supposedly, I might be getting a decent raise during my company's annual process for that stuff.

That's basically how I see cars, despite living in the motor city. As long as mine is affordable and does its job, I'm not too concerned with what it looks like.

Get you da kitty!

But you got through it! Why? Because you have super powers! Uh, right?

Now that would be good news! Good luck *crosses fingers*

I'm really just not concerned with them. While the come in hand sometimes, I've never actually need one to go to school/college/work.

I plan to. They're such fascinating creatures.

Either that or I'm insane. Or a masochist. Either way it's bad.

It would be excellent news, especially since it would go into effect September 1st, and that fits my ideal timetable of moving by the end of August.

Cars are a necessity in this area. Being the center of the North American auto industry created a bias against public transportation.

And how are things going with you?
