Lunch went well today. We decided to to to the Macaroni Grill, and I had the lasagna. It wasn't as good as Peppina's was, but how often are you going to find seventeen delicate layers of perfection.

The McNamara terminal has wireless access, but I need to tweak Laserbeak's settings so I can actually take advantage of that. The flight itself had a few rough spots and it really did a number on my ears during the descent, but was otherwise uneventful.

My trip to the hotel was interesting. I took the train and ended up missing the stops I needed because the directions I was given had a different idea of what "end of the line" meant and there were people making noise during the announcement that would have prevented the unnecessary trip back. It all worked out for the best, howeve since it gave me a better understanding of how to navigate in this city.

Now to finish replying to the backlog of comments that accumulated during the day.

You've actually counted the layers? XD

Yeah, that's another thing...supposedly there's wireless everywhere, but I can sense disaster if I tried taking advantage of that on a laptop...

D'oh! Well, scenic routes are always interesting...

I felt compelled to since that's how the describe the lasagna on their menu.

Since you would have it set up by someone who knows what they're doing, you wouldn't need to worry about visiting embarassing websites.

I knew I'd find my way eventually, so I just sat down and relaxed until I reached my stop again.

Oh, okay, that makes more sense XD

Eh? No, I just mean getting it to work. Don't you need to reconfigure it wherever you go?

I really should stop pining for that restaurant's food. It closed in August of 2001.

To some extent it needs to be reconfigured, but that's mostly just pointing it at the new network you're in.

D'oh!

Yeah, and like I said, that would end up being a total adventure with me XD

I'm still trying to improve my cooking skills so I can reproduce the recipe.

On my way back, Laserbeak actually configured itself and I could have been online at the airport if paid about $7.

$7?! For how long?

I don't remember the exact amount of time, but I couldn't justify spending the money when I would only have used it for a half-hour at most.
