Aside from my grandmothers turning their nitpicking powers on my sister, Sunday went very well.

This is my last day on my current project and my coworkers are taking me out to lunch. I'm not quite sure where they're taking me since I said that it didn't matter where we went, so it should be interesting to see what they pick.

I then fly out to Chicago for some training my employer wants me to take. It's a two-day course about their testing methodologies, which is kind of funny since the project I was on had me testing software. The trip should be interesting since I rarely travel by plane and I should have an advantage in the course.

D'oh. I guess you got a break for your b-day, tho, eh?

Gonna be on LJ while you're gone? Good luck on the flight. Have fun at lunch, too ;-)

Yeah, but one of them crossed a line when she got really demanding about visiting my sister's condo. That grandmother can be really critical and my sister is working 60 hours a week right now (She voluneered to work every Saturday during tax season), so she doesn't really want the stress of having company on her only day off.

I'm bringing Laserbeak so I can stay caught up on LJ and do other things if I get bored.

The flight should be an adventure since I've never done the whole airport thing by myself before.

And thanks for replying to all those comments. I know it can't be easy to do that with work getting busy, but I definitely appreciate it.

Volunteered????
I so hear her, really. People don't seem to understand I'm even MORE protective of my days off when I'm busy.

Okie, long as ya got the connection.

Never, eh? Heh, and it's a bit different now...

I gotta keep up better x.x I hate dropping the ball...

She says it's not as bad as it sounds, probably because she has a bunch of interesting coworkers. I totally understand being protective of time off. That's why I try to avoid starting conversations with you on weekends. That's your time, and I can't impose on it unless invited.

Never. I know it's a bit different. My mom actually reminded me not to do anything evil while I'm there.

You're not dropping the ball, especially not during your busy season. If anything, I should be more accommodating since I know you have trouble keeping up with LJ comments.

Well, we do Saturdays here, but it's not voluntary XD

Yeah, no joking around, apparently...

Oh, you're doing just fine with me :-)

I think it was only voluntary for my sister in the sense that they would require it if there weren't enough volunteers.

But I behaved... for once.

That's good to hear. I'm going to miss chatting with you this often while you're busy with work.

Long as they pay well enough for it...

Mmm-hmmmm...

I'll try to keep up, but no promises x.x

I'm guessing they do since she was able to afford a really nice condo and an absurdly affectionate cat.

Nobody ever believes me when I say that.

Don't worry about it. I know your job is stressful, and I'm not going to add unreasonable expectations to that.
