Got dragged to a sushi place last night

Before the client's holiday shutdown, my boss and her boss decided that we needed to celebrate that our contract was renewed; unfortunately, one of my coworkers couldn't go then because he was out of town, so it had to be rescheduled for this week.

We went to a sushi place called Little Tree. Normally, I'm not fond of seafood, but I figured I'd give it a try, and it wasn't too bad.

Near the end of the meal, my coworkers mistook my attempts at politely listenting to their interests as a sign of fatigue.

Of the restaurants we've been to for these team outings, my favorite has been an Indian place near the client site. Indian food is really spicy, but I kind of liked it since it was a different sort of spicy than Mexican food.

I've also developed a weird cough, and, yes, I'm going to get it checked out. It started as a minor thing near the end of last year, but I didn't think much of it at time since everyone at the client was coughing a bit.

Sushi's one of those things that intrigues me and frightens me at the same time. I've had one piece that a friend gave me to try, and it wasn't too bad. I think I want to try more, but really want to go with someone who knows allot about it, so they can order the good introductory stuff (and so there's someone there who'll eat anything I don't like.)

We basically had sampling of the tamer stuff (Yellowtail, tuna, salmon, California rolls, etc.). The texture of the fish is kind of weird at first, but you get used to it quickly.

Can't eat fish or spicy x_x I'm a very boring person to eat out with--unless you like Italian XD But at least ya tried it and didn't hate it.

Aieeeee, more awful viruses or whatever! Get to the doc, yeah!

I know you hate fish, and I'm not normally fond of spicy either. I love Italian food, and I'm still trying to find a decent replacement for my favorite restaurant.

Done. It's nothing significant, but I do have some strong cough medicine and an antibiotic to take now. This should be fun since I've always had trouble swallowing pills.
