There's only one problem with a long weekend

By the time I start feeling truly relaxed, it's time to begin adjusting to diurnal behavior again.

At least I was able to refine Dan's appearance a bit more, and make some progress on the hockey image.

I still have a ways to go with this image before I even consider coloring it, but I think I'm making progress.

The image still needs some vital components, like the left foot and a complete hockey stick, and revision to make the anatomy better.

Delts lookin' definitely better. I think, tho, that you have them too strictly teardrop shaped; the top sort of wraps around to the collarbone/shoulderblade. I shouldn't nitpick so, tho, since I still don't really draw how that works well.

Nice abs on the hockey pose. Yeah, I always notice those first XD Knee could stand to be turned a little bit, but good progress there. His species is unmistakeable with those proportions :-)

Keep drawin'!

It's not nitpicking since you're mentioning it for the right reasons. You've been right so far, and I've been adding each item to a text file of things to watch out for and improve upon.

Dan (looking toward his abdomen for a moment and feeling a bit self-conscious, but otherwise pleased): Thanks, tigerman. It's always nice hearing someone say they like how I look.

Soon I'll have to try coloring him on the computer so I can freely adjust his spots until they're positioned exactly how I want them. You wouldn't mind if I practiced by coloring the sketch you did of Dan, would you?
