Work actually had some good news for me, and other stuff

My company won the rebid for the project I'm on, so that means job security for a while.

Having a bit of job security also helped at the gym, too, even if I did find out that a couple things I need to improve with my legs. My hamstrings are really tight, and I have to do more stretching so I can squat deeper. I also learned that my torso tends to twist a couple degrees to the left, which puts my right knee in a bad position.

And, I didn't have time to mention it before, but one of the trainers at my gym was in his first bodybuilding competition over the weekend. He took third place.

Last, Here's a trailer for Bender's Game, the next Futurama movie.

If you're wondering why a science fiction series would have a fantasy-themed movie, there's a simple explanation- the writers are huge Dungeons & Dragons nerds.

Job security and tight hamstrings good!

Did you get to watch him? :-D

The tight hamstrings are bad. Mne are so tight, I only get three fourths of a proper squat before experiencing horrible pain.

Unfortunately, not at the competition. I found out about it a bit too late to make the drive out to Kalamazoo. (It has a reputation as a bodybuilding town.) Thankfully, I've seen him working out, so I didn't completely miss the spectacle.
