A piece of film history turned up in Buenos Aries

The full-length version of Fritz Lang's Metropolis was rediscovered. It needs some restoration work, and some parts may never look as good as they did back in 1927, but this adds about 1½ hours to the previously known longest version.

Well , they could always track the movements of the characters , recreate them in CGI and then do some sort of composite of the original image and the CGI.

If it really looks like the image that we see there , it needs a LOT of work!

I have the dvd along with refer madness that was released half a decade ago. It was really something. When my friend made me watch it I was thrown for a loop. No talking, people in a future where it looked like socialism had won.
