New Car

I picked up my new car on Thursday, after what felt like day of paperwork. Sooo many things to sign.

It's a Redfire 2006 Fusion, and I have pictures.

So far, it's been an interesting adjustment from my Taurus. The frame's a different shape, and there isn't a small window on either side in the back, so checking behind my car was different at first. The gas tank is on the driver's side, while all of my previous cars had it on the passenger side. I'll be spending about a month fine-tuning the positions of the seat and mirrors, along with deciding what to put on my radio presets.

Good points of the car are the gas mileage, a keyless entry unit that's part of the key, a 6 CD changer/mp3 player, the incredibly quiet engine, a message center with two timers and two trip counters, a trunk that could hold a few bodies, a dashboard storage area, and radio controls on the steering wheel.

I also got a compliment at the gym on Thursday night. A woman said that my shoulders looked bigger. ^.^

Thanks. I'm still getting used to the lack of windows. Every time I change lanes I think there's somebody in my blind spot.

So far, I've been enjoying it.
