OK, it wasn't as hard as I thought

I found the trick to animating a panel from the latest pages of ISO. The trick was to create a frame with the gears moved slightly.



After that, I cut the animation into square segments so I could turn it into something icon-sized.



It's a bit smaller than I would like, and the right edge isn't in the icon version, but it works.

I like the banner-type one at the top. It's got some real class to it - mind if I use it on my LJ info page as an ad for ISO?

Class? I thought it needed work, particularly the gear on the left edge and the tiny gear on the right.

You should probably get Vince's permission first, but it might be a while before you can ask. He doesn't normally have a problem with that sort of thing as long as credit is given.
