Well, today's the day
Sep. 25th, 2010 06:40 amIt's taken months of training, practice, and eating boring food, but I'm finally going to be in a bodybuilding competition.
This is going to be really interesting. Being short gives me a slight advantage, but I'm not quite as lean as I think I should be since cutting isn't an exact science.
Since this is my first time, I'm nott expecting to win, but I'll still try my best. Surprisingly, I wasn't nervous until work took us off mandatory overtime. (30 extra hours just in the first half of September.)
Sorry there weren't any progress pictures. The aforementioned overtime left no opportunity to take any, but there will be some from the competition itself.
This is going to be interesting, and I'm really looking forward to having carbs and liquids again.
