Opera released an API for the Wii Remote. It gives access to remote status, roll, cursor position, screen distance, and buttons pressed, but not acceleration, through Javascript.

Assuming the Wii Browser has SVG support, I could do some interesting things. Guess it's time for some research and experimenting.
