My eyes! The goggles do nothing
Feb. 7th, 2007 09:57 pmLast weekend started on a good note. I went out to eat with some coworkers on Friday night and had a good time. One of my coworkers may have been interested in me, but it was hard to tell for sure since I didn't see him for long, and he's not one of the people I normally interact with at work.
Saturday night was when things started to go bad. After a productive workout, I started to get a sore throat. The next day, I couldn't swallow much, but I was feeling a bit better Monday morning and was fine by that afternoon.
I should have known I wasn't really better since I still had a sniffle and didn't push myself as hard as I should have at the gym on Monday or Tuesday.
This afternoon, my eyes started feeling funny. I left about a half-hour later when my eyes became watery, bloodshot, and leaked some mucus. Turns out, the sore throat migrated to around my eyes, and briefly to my right ear.
Some good came out of this since I was able to get more of the classic Transformers Minicons when I picked up my prescriptions, and watch more of the New Dr. Who on DVD.
