Guess it's time for an update
Aug. 16th, 2006 10:34 pmThere hasn't been much to write about when I've had the time to do so lately.
I saw my sister's new kitten. It's a cute little black thing with white patches, including one on its chin that gives it a perma-frown. Currently, it has no name, but my choice has become "El Gato Diablo".
The little ball of fluff can be a bit of a terror. It chewed a hole in my sister's $80 bedspread, loves jumping on stuff, steals food when people aren't paying attention, and chews on almost anything, (We think she's teething), and stuff like that. The good news is that Emmy and the kitten finally get along. Emmy, in her rare instances of not being a lump, even pins the kitten down to groom it.
My project has been picking up speed too. Right now, we're mostly doing work on report generation. The client also has a bit of construction going on, so my team has been temporarily displaced. It's technically less crowded where I sit now, but I'm basically stuck halfway outside somebody else's cubicle while I do my job.
And this morning I found a dead squirrel near my doorstep when I left for work.
