Yet another shocking twist
May. 4th, 2006 12:18 pmI may be going to Texas for five weeks starting Monday. Opportunities for new projects are kind of slow around here because the state's economy is so closely tied to the auto industry, and my company is trying to fill the gaps in other places with the unassigned people from around here.
I should find out whether I'm wanted on the project by the end of the day tomorrow. That doesn't leave much time to pack, and it will get dangerously close to Anthrocon since my boss from my previous project still wants me on its next phase, but it should still be doable. I'm not going to miss out Anthrocon. it's my first real vacation in years, and there are a lot of great people that I'd like to meet in person.
