Truth in advertising
Dec. 10th, 2005 06:21 pmI seem to have caught a cold on Friday. Thankfully, it's behaving itself by remaining in my upper respiratory system where its easiest to deal with. As long as I have access to warm beverages or soup, I should be better by Monday or Tuesday.
Now for the truth in advertising part. Despite the cold, I was still able to go to the gym and had a nice view while using the leg press. On the other side of the room, there was a nicely built guy in a tight blue t-shirt with the words "enormous growth potential" written across the chest in yellow. Given what he looked like, I'd say it was an accurate statement.
My closest RL friend visited this evening. Other that his unannounced arrival cutting into the time I had set aside for drawing, it was good to see him. I hadn't heard from him in a while because he was busy with school and his new nephews. Plus, he was having trouble IMing me for some reason.
I also found out that my mother made Christmas cookies from a mix. I told her that she was missing the point since half the fun is making them from scratch and reminded her of the pie crust incident.
