The next few weeks should be interesting
Nov. 19th, 2005 12:34 amThe client I work for has begun its big push to get as much new application code into production as possible before the holiday shutdown, including more enhancements to a large application I had to test last month. Thankfully, I should be able to handle it much better than before for several reasons: Metroplex's soundcard is working again so I'll be able to listen to my music collection at home, the odds of another coworker causing problems and quitting are very low, there are fewer changes to the large application this time, and a few other resources will hopefully be available if I need them.
I should also start writing a list of things I want for Christmas since my grandmother will be asking next week. I'd prefer if she adopted my maternal grandmother's policy of giving money to make sure everyone gets what they want, but she likes to give actual gifts. And I need to ask my aunt if she wants anything since she's coming in from Florida for Christmas.
