Stuff that happened in 2005
Some interesting stuff happened in the past year.
My mother was taken to the hospital because she was having memory lapses. At first they thought it was a stroke, but it turned out to be a temporary condition called transient global amnesia.
My favorite comic shop closed.
I started trying to draw. I still need to find the right balance between work, sleep, the gym, drawing, and simply relaxing. Drawing is losing right now, and I need to fix that since I can't improve if I don't practice.
Work nearly drove me mad.
I started going to the gym.
My sister moved and got a cat.
I learned that my high school german teacher has cancer and doesn't expect to be around next year. She was one of the few good teachers I had, and I really should write a journal entry about her.
And last, but certainly not least, I made some great new friends.
I look forward to seeing what 2006 has to offer, and hope everyone has a good year.

You'll have a great 2006. And I'm glad to have met you in 2005 as well. It's nice knowing that there's someone else who has had similar experiences and actually understands me.
