Too much talking, not enough listening

One of my coworkers was out of town for most of this week, so I've had to take on some of his tasks. Today, one of the meetings I had to go to for him turned out to be one of the worst types- the ones where everybody tries to talk, but nobody actually listens. It took two hours to review an application when it could easily have been finished in half that time.

My workout went well tonight. I really worked my arms and chest, and my legs are still kind of sore, but it's definitely worth the trouble since I'm seeing results.

Thankfully, the client's holiday shutdown lasts until January third so I should have plenty of time to relax.

Boo meetings AND covering for coworkers. Start taking some vacations so they can cover you back ;-)

Still jealous how you're getting results. He's been on vacation so I'm going on my own this week and it's just not the same.

Relaxing good. Won't be for a few days before I hit coasting periods...

LIvejournal's email notification seems to have gone funny again

The meetings aren't always bad, it's just when nobody listens that gets on my nerves. Technically, I'm on vacation all of next week. Sure, almost everybody else is too, but that just means I won't have to get caught up when I go back.

Having someone else around definitely helps. My trainer knows exactly how to make me go past what I think my limits are. If I lived near you, I'd gladly help when your trainer isn't around.

You're getting results too. You've indicated that you're losing a couple of pounds a week, which is a nice steady pace.

Relaxing very good. I hope you can get a lot of it.
