I really wish snow days applied to adults

I encountered a pleasant sight as I was leaving the gym tonight. It's the first big snowstorm of the year and everything is being covered in the stuff.

I'd love to call in sick tomorrow so I can go play in the snow, but there's a bit of a push to get things into production before the end of the year.

Oh well, that gives me time to plan what sort of snow monstrosity I should build. I'm thinking of making an enormous creature that looks like it will devour any cars that get too close.

I also got some encouraging news from one of my company's higher-ups. Some of the people on the client's technical testing team are moving on to different projects and my name came up as a possible replacement for one of them.

Oh, psh. When you said you saw a pleasant sight leaving the gym, I thought you were going to say something about a hot guy XD What kind of cheetah ARE you? Do they even know what snow IS? XDDDDDD Granted, a snow monster would be fun, tho I know nothing about how to sculpt snow.

Good luck there!

At this time of year, I only see that sort of thing in the gym. On weeknights, there are usually several hot guys to stare at. Thankfully, nobody has noticed when I'm staring since my eyes tend to dart about trying to take in everthing around me at once.

A weird one, of course.

I wish I had planned ahead by sketching out a concept for what I want to build. Working with snow is kind of interesting. You can't have a lot of sharp angles, it can be compacted to make it more sturdy, and mistakes can easily be undone by adding more. The only difficult part is that it can become hard to use if you wait too long.

I guess I'm lucky the hotness factor is pretty low at my gym, then.

I guess I'm not one to talk, considering I'm playing a *Siberian* tiger who apparently isn't fond of snow ;-)

Then you can pour fruit syrup over it to make a yummy treat! Interesting, tho. Yeah, I can see those applying...

That depends. I usually don't have much of a chance to stare on weeknights since that's when I have my personal training sessions, and on weekends it means I have something to look at when I have to wait for someone to get done with a machine.

You say that like weird is a bad thing.

Like at the end of Groundhog Day. Since it was sunny for most of the afternoon, the snow may have already changed too much to make it usable.
