Good news, everyone
I got lucky and the only dead part of my new computer was the power supply. The old UPS, however, is also toast.
On another note, not having a working computer gave me more time to draw. I feel like I'm still missing something important that keeps me from moving from an initial sketch to a finished drawing. My attempts at drawing the human figure have been mixed at best, and atrocious at worst.
I think it would help to find someone to teach me and at least say when and where I'm improving.
