I got back from Chicago last night, and I still feel a bit off. The flight back was completely full and the terminal at O'Hair was really hot, so I couldn't do much drawing.

My first day of training went fairly well, even though I found it hard to pay attention since my last project was testing work.

On Tuesday night, I went to Andy's Jazz Club with a few people from the class. It was a decent place; however, I also learned that my dress shoes aren't made for walking.

I think I caught a minor sinus infection on Tuesday, but it's clearing up now.

The second day was more of the same stuff. I found the training exercise a bit degrading since it had us writing test scripts for how to tie shoes.

After the class, I went directly to the airport since the train was right next to the training site. That led to a bit of a wait, but I was able to get some Chicago style pizza. Buddy's definitely makes pizza better. I also forgot about changing into my boots until after I had checked my bag. My right foot is still a bit sore from all of the walking I did.

Today has been filled with computer-based training and searching my company's website for new project assignments. Thankfully, being unassigned for a bit is normal, and all I have to do is apply for new projects I find, take training, and document what I'm doing.
